OUR STORY
Meet Clinic+O Founder Nasser Diallo
It started with his father and a bus ride.
When Clinic+O’s founder Nasser was 13, his father was diagnosed with diabetes. They lived 250 miles from the nearest hospital. Every month, they took a 10-hour bus ride each way for a 10-minute appointment. His father passed away from a treatable disease - because care came too late.
Clinic+O was built so no one else has to wait that long.
In rural Guinea, healthcare is out of reach.
Most people live too remote from affordable quality care; the country lacks physicians to provide needed care:
1 doctor per 10,000 people
Most live over 6 hours from a hospital
Chronic conditions go undetected
Emergency visits are too late—and too costly
THE PROBLEM
Clinic+O brings care to the doorstep.
We equip government Community Health Workers (CHWs) with a mobile app that delivers:
Home-based screening for diabetes, hypertension, and more
Telehealth video consultations with doctors
Remote treatment plans and follow-ups
Patients pay just $1 per visit
THE SOLUTION
Screened 60,000+ beneficiaries in 28 months
Beneficiaries saved $1.8M in traditional healthcare cost
Reduced need for long-distance travel to remote clinics by 65%
