WHY WE HELP.

Clinic+O was launched with the vision of building technology-enabled healthcare solutions in West Africa where more than 100 million people lack access to primary care. Expenses for outpatient services are the primary driver for healthcare costs in Guinea and too many people suffer from treatable conditions and disease that lead to poor health and wellbeing, which contributes to the spread of disease across communities and regionally. The current conditions result in reduced life expectancy and high rates of illness from preventable diseases like diabetes, malaria, pneumonia, HIV/AIDS, Ebola, and COVID-19. Limited healthcare infrastructure means services are inaccessible due to geography and cost.

Our Theory of Change

Our platform is the first in Guinea and much of the region to convene all healthcare providers and patients on a unified system. We believe (and evidence shows), by training and connecting all stakeholders in the primary care system using accessible mobile technology, Clinic+O can bridge inefficiencies and gaps in care and will reduce cost for patients while improving their health and wellbeing. The more users we attract the more value is returned to everyone.

By using Clinic+O's platform and services …

1. Patients gain access to a primary care network that can deliver both virtual and in person care to identify and address the majority of treatable health conditions.

2. Community Healthcare Workers perform outreach and onboarding in marginalized communities to ensure that patients have access to diagnosis, treatment, and follow up

3. Clinicians access initial assessments and demographic information for patients and can provide diagnosis and prescriptions for lab exams and medication that is recorded and shared electronically with all stakeholders

4. Government, NGO, and Corporate partners gain a data-driven understanding of health conditions, and a means of providing subsidies that is secure and traceable.
